  • Pricing as a marketing strategy

 

Session 4: Controlling Costs – 18 minutes plus quiz

  • Overhead costs, variable and fixed costs
  • Calculating overhead costs and monitoring weekly
  • Decreasing fixed costs-facilities, energy use, vehicles, administrative labor
  • Decreasing direct costs-labor and replacements

 

Session 5: When to Walk Away from a Bid or RFP - 12 minutes plus quiz

  • Calculating Cost of Sales
  • Evaluating RFP’s
  • Red flags that price is the determining factor
  • When an RFP may not be right for you
  • Reasons for walking away from a competitive bid
